What do I need to bring to my medical?

  • The medical form that relates to you medical assessment / certificate.

  • Your GP summary medical record (If stated for your booked medical)

  • Photo ID with your correctly corresponding address.

  • If you wear glasses or contact lenses for driving then please bring these with you, as well as a copy of your most recent prescription (glasses/contacts) if you have one.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment then the cost is refunded to the card you used as payment (minus the booking fee). If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment then no refund will be issued.

In the rare situation that we may need to change your appointment you will be offered a rescheduled appointment or refunded in full.

What happens if the doctor is unable to complete the medical?

This occasionally happens when the medical reveals an unforeseen health issue that requires further tests and/or treatment. If you ‘fail’ a medical due to high blood pressure - you will be rescheduled at a later date without incurring any further costs. For all other issues - see our T&Cs page.

Do you offer any other medical services?

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer:

  • Oil & Gas medicals

  • Cruise ship pre-employment medicals

  • Commercial dive or non-PADI medicals

  • ENG1 Seafarer medicals

  • Firearm medicals

  • Any medical for under 18s

  • Allergy tests

  • Blood tests

  • Vaccinations

What happens once the medical is completed?

For a D4 medical:

post your completed D4 medical form along with your application form and your photo ID driving licence to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BR.

For a Motorsport medical:

post your completed form, payment, photo ID +/- ECG to Motorsport UK, Bicester Motion, OX27 8FY.

For an ML5 medical:

Take both the ML5 report and certificate to your local MCA Marine Office or RYA for the commercial endorsement.

Fitness to work/health surveillance certificates will be issued to you via our online e-portal.

Do you offer Occupational Health Assessments?

Yes we do! Since September 2025 we are able to offer the following occupational health services:

  • Pre-employment medical assessments

  • Health surveillance and monitoring e.g. HAVS T1-T4, skin, asthma

  • Fit-for-work assessments

  • Return-to-work support

  • Workplace health advice and education
